Handmade Soap? The cold process method of soap making is used to produce these soaps. The soaps are made with a choice blending of oils that are known for their properties. Handmade soap retains the glycerin which is a natural by-product of soap making. Glycerin is a humectant (it draws moisture to itself) and contributes to a wonderful bar of soap. These soaps are superfatted to create a luxurious, cleansing, non-drying bar of soap.

Once you have tried a bar of handmade soap,
you may never go back to commercial soap!

These soaps are more subtly scented than commercial soap.
Don't expect a strong scent that will fill a room or stay on your skin.

Ingredients: A list of the ingredients used are
listed in order of predominance. We want you
to know exactly what is in each product.

Many of the soaps contain herbs, spices, botanicals, clays and/or citrus peels. This gives texture to the soap as well as being excellent for exfoliation. We use powdered herbs, clays and spices for color.

Essential Oil & Clay Essential Oil soap
are scented with essential oils.

The 100% Olive Oil Castile soap is either scented with essential oils or unscented. Unscented soap has no added scent and contains just great base oil formulas and any botanical additives (you may notice a slight scent from the natural scent of the botanicals used). These types of soap are considered 100% natural. Castile soap does not have as much lather. That is the nature of Castile. Part of the reason Castile soap is more gentle is due to the fact that it rinses easily. Making it wonderful for babies and mature skin.

Fragrance Oil soap is made with high quality synthetic fragrance oils. Fragrance oil makes up a small part of a soap recipe. These soaps are considered 95.5% natural.

**Please be aware that there are as many people allergic to essential oils as there are allergic to synthetic fragrances.

So read the label before purchasing. If you have skin condition, please consult your physician before using these soaps.

Most of the soaps are vegan. We do not use animal fats in our soap, but we do have soap that contains goats milk, honey and/or beeswax. All ingredients are listed for each product.

*Lye is used to make soap (saponification).
There is no lye in the finished product.

No preservatives are used in the soap. There is no
need for a preservative in cold process soap.

Allergies: Our soap is milder than commercial soap, but it is not hypoallergenic. Please read individual product ingredients if you have any type of allergy. We cannot give advice on allergies or any other health concern. Consult your physician.

External Use Only: Soaps are for external use only.

Each bar of soap weighs 3.5 ounces (or more) and is
labeled with the ingredients. Your soap is not wrapped
in plastic/shrink wrap which can get nasty looking during
hot/humid weather.

*Handmade soap is best left
open and allowed to "breath".

We ship soap in plastic bags to protect it in transit. Upon receipt of your soap, we suggest you remove it from the bag and store it away from strong light. Strong light may cause the natural colorants to fade, but will not affect the quality of the soap.

Essential Oil Soaps

Caravan

This soap is made with a blend of essential oils and colored with
powdered Red Sandalwood, Myrrh and Frankincense. You will find
this scent to be spicy, exotic, unisex and a little mysterious.

Ingredients: Olive Oil, Palm Oil, Coconut Oil, Water, Sodium Hydroxide, Palm Kernel Oil, Canola Oil, Castor Oil, Essential Oils: Patchouli, Cinnamon Leaf, Vetiver, Ylang Ylang, Palmarosa & Bitter Almond, Red Sandalwood Powder, Myrrh Powder, Frankincense Powder.

Holy Basil

This herbal soap has a fragrance made from basil, citrus and
other essential oils. Also contains comfrey & basil extracts.

Lemongrass Rosemary is blended with wonderful

Peppermint Ice

Peppermint Essential Oil makes this soap a very refreshing, uplifting soap.
The blue tie-dye color is derived naturally from Indigo Root.
This bar tends to be harder, sudsier than the other soaps. Soap color may be lighter than shown.

Ruby Red Grapefruit

Grapefruit Essential Oil has been described as "uplifting". It is a great morning shower soap. We used Madder Root to achieve the deep pink grapefruit color.

Tea Berry

This herbal soap is scented with Wintergreen & Clary Sage Essential Oils. The Clary Sage softens the scent of the Wintergreen. We've added a few Green tea leaves for texture.

Ginger Fluff

This soap is made with all Goats Milk and the fragrance has been improved. It is now scented with Essential Oils. The rich caramel color is from our essential oil blend.

Spruce For Men

This refreshing Pine scented soap is a favorite with men, but like our Slate soap, many women like it, too. If you like pine or woodsy scents, you will like this. We've added Calamine Powder for richer lather. The color comes naturally from Spirulina and Indigo Root.

Carrot & Honey

Carrots are good for you and honey is a humectant that draws moisture to itself. This soap is made with both and has a rich & creamy lather.

There is no fragrance added, but it may have a slight "nutty" scent from the honey and carrots. Some people notice the scent, others don't. We just want to mention that there is no scent added.

Terracotta Foot Soap

Another customer favorite, this soap contains Eucalyptus and Spearmint Essential Oils, Pumice and Moroccan Red Clay. This is a great soap for feet. The fragrance is refreshing and the addition of Shea Butter makes it even better. The rich color comes naturally from Unrefined Palm Oil, the Red Clay and Paprika.

This soap is also great for hands.
