Lavender Buds
Lavender
- Lavender produces spikes of purplish blue flowers with a wonderful
sweet floral scent.
Lavender has been used for centuries as a fragrance and a medicine. Other herbal uses of Lavender besides soaping includes treating burns, wounds, eczema, dermatitis, headaches, insomnia, infections, ulcers, acne, asthma, and arthritis to name a few.
It is also used in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and perfume industries. Lavender
& Lavender essential oil is known to be antiviral, antibiotic, antiseptic, and antifungal.
It is
known to be repellent to mosquitoes and houseflies. A few drops of lavender in a couple ounces of aloe vera gel does wonderful things for sunburn.
Emotional
benefits of using Lavender are: calming panic, fears, insecurity, trauma, worry, addiction, obsessive and agitated behaviors.
Aromatherapists consider Lavender to be balancing, soothing,
normalizing.

Calendula Petals
Calendula has been used for many years for its effective skin healing properties.
Some traditional uses: all skin complaints, varicose veins; for treating enlarged lymph nodes, cysts,
and skin lesions. May be helpful to mature skin. Can be used
in bath teas.

Chamomile Flowers
German Chamomile is known for it soothing properties and in the healing
irritated skin, abrasions, eczema, psoriasis, hemorrhoids, chicken pox and many other skin disorders.
Wonderful when used in
soaps and bath teas.

Rosemary
Leaf
Rosemary is
not only known to chefs as a wonderful herb to use in their
dishes but it has many properties that have been
used for a variety of conditions such as respiratory and
circulatory disorders, varicose veins, liver congestion,
digestive and nervous complaints, muscular and rheumatic
pain, balancing the endocrine system, as well as skin and
hair problems. Thus making it an excellent ingredient in our
herbal soaps.
It stimulates the scalp and promotes hair growth and is
effective for acne, dandruff, dermatitis, eczema, greasy
hair, insect repellent, and lice. It is good for asthma,
bronchitis, whooping cough, colitis, dyspepsia, flatulence,
colds, flu, infections, headaches, hypotension,
neuralgia, mental fatigue, nervous exhaustion, and
stress-related disorders.

is NOT to be used during pregnancy and not to be used
excessively by epileptics or those with high blood pressure.
Use in moderation, excessive amounts taken internally may
cause fatal poisoning.
